Fashion Jewellery Components – Product Range

Preciosa manufactures and exports primarily machine-cut (MC) and polished glass stones, beads and chandelier trimmings. In addition, the company offers an attractive and extensive range of other glass products.

Fashion jewellery stones

Round stones

Together with channels and rivolis, machine-cut and polished chatons form the primary components used in the production of strass fashion jewellery. These are available in a wide range of colours and coatings.

Fancy stones

MC ovals, navettes, pears, cubes and other shapes are frequently used in the creation of intricate patterns and motifs.

Balls

MC balls and 3/4 balls are chiefly intended to be used in earrings, buttons and so on, usually  available in crystal or in coated crystal.

Flat-back stones (FB)

MC chaton roses, FB rivolis and FB squares are either glued onto the carrier material, or, when coated with a special adhesive layer, fixed with heat and pressure. Stones with holes (loch-roses) can be sewn onto fabrics.

Cabochons

These stones, created entirely by hand from coloured glass rods melted in the flame of a blast lamp (hence their alternative name “lamp stones”), were originally imitations of natural precious stones. They are available in a virtually infinite number of shapes, sizes, colour and pattern combinations.
