Chandeliers from Preciosa can be found in the Southern hemisphere – namely in New Zealand. Therefore, it is logical that we have developed a detailed system of accomplished cooperation on projects regardless of where they take place. Although it is no longer a problem to deliver plans, drawings or animations today, we know that no virtual simulation can provide you with a complete idea of what you can choose from.

 

This is why we consider material samples to form a standard part of design documentation. At present, we regularly work with about 30 glass metal samples and 20 types of metal surface finishes. Let’s underline that we are speaking about originals now. Obviously, the samples do not restrain our creative powers. Quite often, our cooperation with customers involves the application of special materials and technologies.

 

A good proof of these accomplished efforts can be seen in the Sheraton Hotel in Taipei (Taiwan) for which we created glass blossoms that are up to ninety centimetres in diameter. The applied material was unique flared melt that was decorated

 

 

 

 

 

with colour flakes during shaping. The huge master lighting fixtures are hand-blown. Even the fact that Taiwan is some 10,000 kilometres from the Northern Bohemian foothills could not deter us from implementing this highly singular solution.
