Festival Pearl is the name of the crystal prize the French actor Pierre Brice was awarded at the last year of the International Festival of Child and Youth Film in Zlín as a recognition of his lifelong achievements in films for children and youth. Charismatic Mr. Brice, best remembered as Winnetou, was photographed with the prize directly in the auditorium of the gala evening.
The festival prizes were made by Preciosa and donated to the festival by the Preciosa Foundation. Our crystal prizes suited all the prizewinners no less than the star of the one dozen of Red Indian stories of the 1960’s.
