Preciosa

Pipes are seed beads in the shape of a cylinder with a shorter length (comparing to the diameter), cut from tubes with cylindrical surface of various hole shapes and sizes (round, square) and wall thickness (in virtue of the ratio of the tube and the hole). Their shape is a perfect cylinder, without any arching in the crosscut. Other varieties of cut tube shapes, such as bevelled tubes are used on some types of "Pipes".
