Farfalle
(sometimes referred to as Peanut Beads)
Seed beads resembling butterflies, "Farfalla" in Italian. Their shape is a rounded cylinder, "peanut" or "bow tie" with an hole in the middle. 2 facets are cut on some of these seed beads to reach a higher shine.
Their shape allows an interesting form of beading called "bead on bead".
